Our waterproof adhesive seal butt connectors are designed to create a moisture proof connection that will withstand all corrosive elements found in the ground. After the crimp is made the sleeve must be heated. As the sleeve is heated it shrinks and a special hot melt adhesive inside the sleeve melts and creates a moisture proof bond with the cable insulation.
